Hospital and surgical+ base plan $200,000 of cover if the non-PHARMAC drug is in relation to a non-surgical benefit, and $300,000 if in relation to a surgical benefit.

Essential care+ base plan covers non-PHARMAC subsidised drugs that are included within the private hospital medical admission benefit, non-surgical cancer treatment maximum. Limited to maximum of $10,000 per person per claims year for non-PHARMAC subsidised chemotherapy drugs.

Hospital Medical Benefit up to a total maximum of $200,000 for each insured person every policy year. Non-PHARMAC Cancer Treatment Benefit, a maximum of $10,000 for each insured person every policy year, covers the cost of chemotherapy drugs that are Medsafe approved for the treatment of cancer.

Hospital Medical Benefit up to a total maximum of $200,000 for each insured person every policy year. The maximum for Cancer Treatment in Hospital Benefit is included in the Hospital Medical Benefit Limit. Maximum for Non-PHARMAC funded drugs in Hospital Benefit and non-PHARMAC funded drugs at Home Benefit included in the Hospital Surgical Benefit Limit or Hospital Medical Benefit Limit, whichever applies.
